Customer stories have always been a core strategy for any business looking to provide social proof for its target consumers, and with a new cohort of Pipe customers on the platform it was time to revamp our testimonials. I helped craft the interview questions to create a cohesive narrative arc that would translate to short form video, as well as providing feedback on the final edit. I also art directed the still photography on-set to capture additional content for use across our marketing surfaces. Video production was done in collaboration with Eponine.
Jake is the owner/operator of Ridgeline Well & Pump, a Charlotte, NC based business that specializes in the installation and servicing of ground wells. This content was shot across two locations; a supply warehouse and an actual job site where Jake’s crew was performing a repair during the shoot.
In addition to the full edit of each business’s story, 60s and 30s cutdowns were made for social distribution channels.
Brooke and Zanbria are the co-founders of Swella, a hair braid bar in Charlotte, NC. The filming was done on-site at their store, and hair models were brought in so that we could capture authentic footage of the stylists performing their trade.
Olajide is the co-owner of Verdure, an African fusion restaurant in Atlanta, GA. We also interviewed the GM and Executive Chef who were on-site that day, along with a number of the staff, to allow us to film content of the back and front of house in action.
